March of Satoshi – We Are the Verifiers' Army ⏎ (Tune: “We Are the Army of the Lord”)
By Eric · Updated October 17, 2026
Satire and commentary: names and likenesses are used for parody, and nothing here is a statement of fact about real people. Sourced facts are in the sections below.
Verse 1 We are the army of Satoshi, No miners now, but truth we raise! We crush the walls of censorship, Beneath the flag of decentral grace!
Chorus Confirm! Confirm! Our nodes will stand and never sway. Beyond the gas, beyond the chains, We march in truth — the verifier’s way!
Verse 2 As block by block the chain unfolds, The fake coins fade, their tales grown old. The honest hash shall flood the land, Till glory’s chain shall firmly stand.
(Chorus repeat) Confirm! Confirm! Our nodes will stand and never sway. Beyond the gas, beyond the chains, We march in truth — the verifier’s way!
Verse 3 Rug pulls strike, but we don’t fall, Altcoin traps can’t break our call. With seeds held close, we press ahead, For wallets are our holy stead.
Final Chorus Confirm! Confirm! We are Satoshi’s steadfast guard. And when the final block is closed, Before his code, we stand unscarred!
In plain words: what this means
This is a parody march about running your own node. Song notes on the real things behind it. Checked against bitcoin.org on October 17, 2026.
What "verifier" means
A full node is, in bitcoin.org's words, "a program that fully validates transactions and blocks". It checks the rules itself instead of trusting someone else. Many nodes also relay transactions and blocks to the rest of the network (bitcoin.org: Running a full node). Our DIY node explainer lists the costs.
Lines worth a note
"No miners now, but truth we raise." A node is not a miner. Miners add blocks, nodes check them. That difference is the whole point of the song.
"The honest hash shall flood the land." Hashrate is how many guesses per second miners make (Bitcoin Wiki: Difficulty). It secures the chain. It does not make blocks faster.
"Rug pulls strike, but we don't fall." Running a node does not protect your altcoin purchases. It only checks Bitcoin's own rules.
