Michael Saylor Anthem – Apostle of Digital Gold ⏎ (Melody: "Rise Up, O Men of God")
By Eric · Updated October 17, 2026
Satire and commentary: names and likenesses are used for parody, and nothing here is a statement of fact about real people. Sourced facts are in the sections below.
Verse 1 He cried aloud, “Cash is trash!” With truth inscribed on ledgers. No more stocks, but ₿ he bought, A rebel among the betters.
On corporate sheets he carved the name Of Satoshi the unseen, And shook the silence of Wall Street With gospel loud and keen!
Chorus Michael! Saylor! Apostle of Digital Gold! When all the coins begin to shake, He calmly says, “Buy ₿ and hold!”
Michael! Saylor! When the world comes to ask, He smiles and softly answers: “I won’t ever sell my stack.”
Verse 2 Through markets wild, he stood unshaken, Finger firm on the ‘Buy’ key. Top or dip—it mattered not, For stacking was the decree.
When shareholders feared, And journalists mocked, He answered still with flame— “Inflation is a con job, And ₿ knows no shame.”
(Chorus repeat) Michael! Saylor! Faith beyond accounting! Dollars decay into the dust, But ₿ is everlasting.
Michael! Saylor! Oh CEO of bold belief— He bought not just tech, But philosophy beneath.
Verse 3 If you run a company, If your heart is full of doubt— He would say, “Bitcoin never lies, And never bails you out.”
As BlackRock marched, And ETFs broke free, The world cried, “₿!” aloud— But Michael stood already there, Ahead and fierce and proud!
He declares with fire: “I will not sell!” I will… Stack!! ₿men!!!
In plain words: what this means
The scripture is satire. This is a parody song, not written, endorsed, or sung by Michael Saylor. Checked on October 18, 2026.
What checks out
There is a real company story beneath the brass-band chorus. Strategy's SEC-filed 2025 Form 10-K says that, in the first quarter of 2021, the company adopted a strategy of acquiring and holding bitcoin. The same filing reports its bitcoin holdings and explains that capital raising has been used in its approach (Strategy 2025 Form 10-K, filed with the SEC). That is a company disclosure about corporate policy. It does not prove every lyric about a person.
We did not verify Saylor's job title or history from a primary source for this note, so we do not state any here. No private conduct or motive is inferred.
What needs a footnote
The song's quoted lines—“I won't ever sell my stack,” “I will not sell,” and “Buy ₿ and hold”—are lyrics written for this parody. We did not verify them as Saylor quotes. Nor does a company's reported bitcoin strategy establish that Saylor personally holds any particular amount, will never sell, or follows the song's advice. Those claims remain unverified here.
The lyric says Saylor answered shareholders and journalists with specific phrases, and that he calmly bought through market swings. We found no primary source in the company filing or official biography for those scenes or quotations. Treat them as theatrical inventions, not biography. The SEC filing also describes corporate financing and risks; it is not a promise of performance or a recommendation to imitate the company.
