8:1 Satoshi spread the Word in 2008,
Launched the Chain in 2009,
And communed with the people until 2010.
He was not merely a developer—
But a messenger from beyond the system.

8:2 In December 2010,
He wrote his final post.
Then, through a quiet email,
He said:

“I’m moving on to other things.”
And vanished.

“He never said goodbye, He simply walked away. And his wallet was never opened again.”

Detectives have searched.
Journalists, hackers, governments, philosophers,
And conspiracy theorists
All tried to find him.
None succeeded.

8:4 Some said:

“Satoshi was a team.”
Others cried:
“He was a CIA agent!”
Yet others believed:
“He died. His wallet is his will.”

8:5 But truth remained within the blocks.
Satoshi spoke not through speeches,
But through code.
He did not self-promote,
He designed.

8:6 In his wallet sat
1.1 million ₿TC.
Never moved.
Never touched.
No NFT. No DeFi. No pump.

A message clear:

“No one shall become god

Fact check: what really happened

The scripture is satire. The vanishing act is real, and it is surprisingly well documented. We checked the dates against the Nakamoto Institute's archive and news reports of the last email on October 17, 2026.

What checks out

The last forum post was in December 2010. The Nakamoto Institute's archive of Satoshi's Bitcointalk posts ends with "Added some DoS limits, removed safe mode (0.3.19)", dated December 12, 2010 (Nakamoto Institute).
The last known email was in April 2011. Reports put Satoshi's final known email to developer Mike Hearn on April 23, 2011, and quote it as saying he had "moved on to other things" and that the project was "in good hands" (The Defiant).
The 1.1 million BTC is an estimate, not a count. The number traces to Sergio Lerner's analysis of a repeating pattern in early blocks. Lerner himself calls the evidence circumstantial, and different methods give anywhere from just under 0.9 million to about 1.17 million BTC (Cointelegraph Magazine).

What needs a correction

"In December 2010, he wrote his final post. Then, through a quiet email, he said..." The order is a little off. The email came months later, in April 2011, not right after the post. Satoshi went quiet in public first and kept emailing a few people for a while.
The quote. The chapter has "I'm moving on to other things." The reported wording is "moved on to other things". Small, but we would rather be exact.
"His wallet was never opened again." We could not verify this ourselves. It is true that the coins attributed to Satoshi have not been reported as moving, but "attributed" is doing a lot of work in that sentence. Treat it as widely believed, not proven.
"His disappearance was a ritual to ensure decentralization." That is the chapter's belief, not a fact. Nobody knows why Satoshi left.
